The American Eagle Platinum bullion coin is the only design not inspired by historic US coins. Introduced in 1997, the Platinum Eagle has been offered in BU and Proof versions in the years since. The design of Liberty that has long graced the obverse is the work of John Mercanti, then an Assistant Engraver with the United States Mint.

American Platinum Eagles feature unique designs never used on another American coin. The American Platinum Eagle’s Liberty design is the creation of John Mercanti. Mr. Mercanti also designed the original reverse of the American Silver Eagle.
All of the 2022 1 oz American Platinum Eagle Coins in this product listing come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are offered individually in plastic flips, by multiples of 20 in acrylic tubes, or in Monster Boxes of 100 coins. The box holds a total of five tubes of 20 coins each.
On the obverse of 2022 American Platinum Eagle Coins is a depiction of the Statue of Liberty. This vision of the iconic national symbol was created in 1997 by John Mercanti. It shows the front-facing image of Liberty as depicted in the Statue of Liberty, a stunning visualization of the American spirit gifted to the people of America by the people of France in the late 19th century.
The reverse side of the 2022 1 oz Platinum Eagle features the image of an American bald eagle. In this design from Thomas D. Rogers, the American bald eagle is shown soaring over the nation as the sun rises in the distant background field.

Effectively this means our storage clients are 'not' exposed to any credit or insolvency risks arising from the financial or monetary system. In fact they are not exposed even from the bankruptcy of our own company as customer holdings are segregated in their own family name.
